How to Read & Write Hebrew (Right to Left)

Hebrew is an abjad written and read from Right to Left (RTL). It contains 22 consonant letters, plus 5 letters that change shape when they appear at the end of a word (*Sofit*). Vowels are indicated by small dots and dashes called Nikkud placed above, below, or inside letters.
